At the beginning of the project, I was very interested in this project and was looking forward to using zbrush to carve creatures. The teacher asked us to draw lots to choose an ocean area first. I chose the coral sea. I researched a lot of fantasy marine life, and finally I chose the species of eel and marine eel to design fantasy creatures.

At first, many sketches I designed were not very satisfactory.

In the end, I designed a character that I was satisfied with, combining the elements of the sea eel and the dragon in the myth.

When using zb, I watched some tutorials and videos and completed the carving of the model smoothly without any problems, but I have spent a lot of time carving the model to achieve the effect I wanted.
I made a hand-painted material to make my creature more textured.

There was a lot of problem when binding the bones. Because the first time I used Maya, the weight of the bone binding software, there was always a problem and the brush was uneven. Finally, I used the plug-in to make the controller to complete the bone binding work.

Finally, the effect of putting it in ue is good. I think this project is very interesting. Then I learned a lot of software and knowledge.
